Errol Kantor played tennis at Washburn in 1954, 1955 asnd 1956. The teams he played on were undefeated in city conference play and won the twin cities titles during those years.
After his 1956 gratuation from Washburn, Errol attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota and then attended and graduated from the William Mitchell College of Law.
Errol is an attorney practicing in the twin cities and has a private pilot's license. His is a member and past president of the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association.
Errol has remained active at Washburn. He has been and continues to be the center of communications among the members of the class of 1956, instrumental in fund raising for the prelacement of the poplar trees along the West side of McQuarry Field and in fund raising for the Class of 1956 Scholarship at Washburn which in his honor is named the Errol Kantor Scholarship.
Errol continues to live in the Washburn community and in addition to coaching Washburn Area Hockey Association (WAHA) sprite and peewee hockey teams was on the association's board.
Errol also owns and manages the Space Tower at the Minnesota State Fair. It is a popular site for state fair visitors.
