• 1996 Earned Doctor of Philosophy Degree from University of Minnesota

Teaching/Coaching

• 1971-1985 Mathematics, health and physical education teacher in the Burnsville schools
• Coached Girls' volleyball, basketball, tennis and track and field and boy’s tennis
• 1977, 1981 and 1984 basketball teams participated in the Minnesota State Basketball
• Tournaments; 1977 team won the championship; 1984 team was runner-up
• 1985-1986 Athletic Director at Minnetonka High School
• 1986-1994 Assistant Principal at Henry Sibley High School
• 1994-2007 Principal at Olson Middle School
